BREMBO lance son second projet de site de production en joint venture en Chine avec SIMEST, partenaire financier a hauteur de 40 %

L'investissement devrait s'élever à 15 millions d'euros d'ici à 2007 et la production devrait démarrer en 2006

Curno, le 8 juillet 2005 – BREMBO, géant mondial de la production de systèmes de freinage de pointe, et SIMEST, société mixte de financement, ont signé un accord prévoyant la création d'une entité de production en Chine. Cette co-entreprise, à laquelle participent BREMBO à hauteur de 60 %, SIMEST à hauteur de 40 % et un Fonds de capital-risque pour la Chine (dont la part sera déduite du capital d'ici à 2013, comme le prévoit la législation), sera spécialisée dans la production et la vente de systèmes de freinage en tant qu'équipements de première monte.

The site of the plant will be in the Beijing area and will supply the main car manufacturers in Europe and Asia who have production plants in the Far East. The total investment will be of E15 million. Production is planned to start in the Spring of 2006 with expected revenues of about E20 million at full capacity.

SIMEST, is a public-private merchant bank which promotes the process of internationalisation of Italian companies, by directly participating to investments abroad and by managing the new Venture Capital Funds. Up to today it has already participated to 32 projects in China and started 36 investments with the new Venture Capital Funds.
