New Holland (Fiat Group) Launches New Tractor Series T7000

TURIN, ITALY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 05, 2007 -- New Holland, a brand of the Fiat Group (NYSE: FIA) (MILAN: FIA) and a leader in the agricultural machinery business, introduced in Malaga, Spain, the new T7000 tractor series produced in its Basildon, UK plant.

Presented last November for the first time at the Bologna, Italy EIMA trade fair, the T7000 wants to play a key role in the most important market segment, tractors ranging from 100 to 200 horsepower targeting big cash crop farmers who represent almost half of the European tractor market. France and the UK will be the main market for this product family, where New Holland expects to sell about 70% of the total volume.

At Malaga more than 1,800 participants, including dealers and New Holland internal staff, will take part in a training program during the next nine weeks.
