BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE : Bombardier Aéronautique annonce son projet d'acquisition du hangar d'ExelTech

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - le 9 juin 2010) - Bombardier a annoncé aujourd'hui l'acceptation de son offre d'achat des installations à Ville Saint-Laurent d'ExelTech Aérospatiale Inc., qui vient de déclarer faillite. Cette acquisition accroîtra les capacités du Centre de finition Global (CFG) de Bombardier pour ses biréacteurs d'affaires Global 5000 et Global Express XRS. Ce centre de classe mondiale est un établissement de finition pleinement intégré assurant la conception, l'ingénierie, la fabrication, la certification et la production d'installations intérieures personnalisées. Le CFG de Bombardier est réputé pour sa qualité d'exécution supérieure et son orientation centrée sur le client.

Bombardier forecasts that the 115,000 sq.-ft. (10,684 sq.-m.) facility will be operational by the fall of 2010.

The acquisition of this facility from RSM Richter Inc., in its capacity of receiver of ExelTech Aerospace Inc., is subject to closing conditions including obtaining the approval of the Superior Court of Quebec, as is customary for this type of transaction.
